App for driver - creating route and stops using the app
| This is available if your company has paid for the GPS BUNDLE feature. This is a standard feature for TMR Queensland School Ticketing. For safety, do not operate the driver app whilst driving. All actions required to capture stops should be done whilst the vehicle is stationary at the stop. |
- Login to the Transportme™ Operator app or QLDSchoolBus app or TfNSW Driver app.
- Check Pre-departure check, define Bus Damage, enter Fault Message if these functions are available.
- Step 1: Select Select Route tab on the main menu.
- Step 2: Select Create Route button to open Creating New Route screen.
- Step 3: Select + Start New Route button when ready. As the vehicle moves, the mapping system will AUTOMATICALLY record the line of route the vehicle has taken.
- Step 4: To place a STOP, select Add Stop button, the system AUTOMATICALLY records the current location for the stop.
- Step 5: When the route and stops are complete, select the Finish button in the bottom left hand side of the screen.
- Step 6: When the user has selected the Finish button, a pop up message will appear on the iPad letting the user know the route has been successfully submitted. Select OK to confirm. This route will be sent to the Operator Portal to be approved and saved to the system.
Note: The iPad does require data coverage to create routes and stops using this method.
