Creating parts

Parts and stock is handled under the heading of Mechanic parts

To create a new part, navigate to the Mechanic Parts page

Press Add Part

Enter the details of the Part and press Create

ID - Internal reference for the part, could the supplier part number or your own part number or ID

Part Name - The name of the part, this is seen by mechanics and within other areas of the module

Description - As above

Part Cost (AUD) - This is the cost of the part, this will adjust based on stock movements. For example, if you create a purchase order for this part, the cost will adjust to the latest price.

Quantity - How many of this item you have in stock at the time of creation

Supplier - The supplier you purchased the part from - Requires setup
