Enabling TVM in your system
This feature is available if your company has purchased the Transportme Vehicle Maintenance module | ||
When the TVM (TransportMe Vehicle Maintenance) system is enabled in your Operator Portal your BUSES and DRIVERS will be merged across into the new format.
These screens will now sit under the TVM heading in your Operator Portal as
Employees
Vehicles
Users will need to review the data that has been merged across and update any new fields that exist within the new TVM module.
Employee
There is a new field labelled Role, if the employee is a mechanic, this needs to be set to Mechanic so they can have work allocated to them in the service calendar.
Vehicles
There are many new fields and screens for vehicles. Operators will need to update and review these screens for their vehicles.
Vehicle - Contains basic information about the vehicle which will need to be filled out
Component - Once parts are setup, Operators can list any specific components that relate to this vehicle
Defects - This screen will list defects for the vehicle as they are reported. No action required.
Last Service - Users will need to add service templates for services to begin calculation
Service History - Will display all service history for the vehicle as services are completed. No action required
Odometer - Will show all Odometer entries as they are entered.
Document - Users can optionally add documents to the vehicle profile, such as scanned registration certificates or insurance documents.
