Driver App - Post Update Test Scenarios

It is recommended to conduct testing for the driver app after it has been upgraded to the latest version. Here are some basic reference tests that can be performed. However, depending on your operator configuration, you may add more or ignore certain cases.

  • Open the driver app and verify it's version. 
  • Login to the driver app.
  • Navigate to the app's Settings and connect to peripheral devices that are available for your operator, such as the PAX A920 or pin code generator. 
  • If using the PAX A920, verify the Transportme Pax app and the Satellite app (if allowed to access) to ensure the app versions are as expected.
  • Start a sample or test route.
  • Sell and print (if a printer is available) some tickets, such as cash tickets, cashless tickets, and smartcards (if applicable), and check transactions.
  • Top up smartcards (if applicable).
  • For cashless payments (if available), verify the payment transactions on the Mentor, Square app or Stripe. 
  • Move to the next stop manually.
  • Sell and print (if a printer is available) some tickets, such as cash tickets, cashless tickets, and smartcards (if applicable), and check transactions.
  • End the route.
  • Verify the end-of-route printout.
