App for driver - How to refund cashless ticket from a terminal
Notes:
- The refund capability on the terminal (A920 Pax POS) depends on the device configurations.
- The passenger will need to present their payment card to do the refund on the terminal .
- The driver will need to void the ticket on the driver app.
Reference steps to refund a cashless ticket from a terminal.
- The driver should verify if a transaction is eligible to be refunded accordingly to the operator's policies.
- Open the Satellite app to start the refund process. The Satellite app can be accessed from:
- Option 1:
- From Transportme app > selecting on the Recent app button - the square button located at the bottom bar of the screen
- Selecting the Satellite app.
- Option 2:
- From Home screen, selecting Satellite app
- Option 1:
- (Optional) Check the transaction that is going to be refunded was paid at the current terminal
- Selecting Transactions button to find the transaction in the list.
- Locate the transaction by transaction's time and its amount.
- Decide the refund amount and process to refund.
- Selecting Refund button to open Refund page.
- Enter Refund Amount and selecting the green tick to confirm.
- Enter Merchant Password. You may want to contact the operator for the password.
- Present the passenger's payment card to process the refund.
- Refund done.
