Passenger List – Route Overview
The Passenger List screen allows operators to manage and monitor passengers during a route. How passengers are assigned depends on whether the route is an AM or PM service.

AM vs PM Route Configuration
AM Routes
On AM routes, operators assign passengers to their boarding stop only.
- Passengers appear in the Arriving list at the stop where they are scheduled to board.
- Once they tap on, they move to the Bus Roll list.
PM Routes
On PM routes, operators assign passengers to their de-boarding stop only.
- All passengers typically board at the first stop.
- Passengers appear in the Departing list at the stop where they are scheduled to get off.
- The Departing list at the first stop is usually empty.
Understanding the Passenger List Screen
The screen contains several tabs and action buttons:
Tabs
All
Displays all passengers configured for the selected route, regardless of their boarding or de-boarding status.
Use this view to:
- Confirm route configuration
- Search for a specific passenger
Bus Roll
Displays passengers who have tapped on and are currently marked as “on the bus.”
This reflects the current live status of passengers onboard.
Arriving (AM routes only)
Displays passengers scheduled to board at the current stop.
Passengers in this list:
- Are expected to tap on at this stop
- Move to Bus Roll once boarded
Departing (PM routes only)
Displays passengers scheduled to de-board at the current stop.
Passengers in this list:
- Are currently on the bus
- Will be marked off when they de-board
Action Buttons
Passenger Off
Marks an individual passenger as off the bus.
Everyone Off
Marks all passengers currently on the bus as off.
Use carefully, typically at the final stop.
Update Bus Roll
Manually syncs the current passenger list to the server.
Use this if:
- Internet connection was unstable
- Live Tracking is not reflecting updates
- You want to ensure the system is up to date
Troubleshooting
1. Arriving / Departing list is empty
- On PM routes, the Departing list at the first stop is usually empty.
- Check that passengers are assigned to the correct boarding (AM) or de-boarding (PM) stop in route setup.
2. Passenger not appearing in Bus Roll
- Confirm the passenger has tapped on successfully.
- Check the All tab to verify they are configured for the route.
- Use Update Bus Roll to sync manually.
3. Live Tracking not updated
- Tap Update Bus Roll to sync changes.
- Ensure the device has internet connectivity.
