Send push notifications to the app for passengers

  • Sending Push Notifications allows operators to send messages to their passengers who registered with Transportme™ Passenger app or Travel2School app (app). 
  • Note: 
    • This feature is available if your company has subscribed to the Passenger App Notifications module.
    • This is a standard feature for Queensland School Ticketing operators. 
  • Login to Transportme™ or QST operator portal. 
  • Select the Message tab on the main menu.
  • Select Push Notifications from the left menu. The list of the most recent 100 messages sent is displayed. 
    • Routes: route or route list will be shown in this column if the message was sent to a specific route(s). 
    • Read Count: the column shows the number of the app user have read the message.

  • Sending message: 
    • Select Route
      • All routes: if no route is specified. The message will be sent to all app users who have the operator as their favourite operator and have turned on Receive Push Notifications in the app Settings as the following screenshot.

      • Selected routes: select the route(s) that you wish to send notifications from the drop down list. The app users who are tracking any of these route(s) on the Live Tracking page of the app will receive this notification message.
    • Enter the message content in the Message box.
    • Select the Send button to push the message to the app.
