Create multi trips discount configuration

Create Multi Trips - Discount Configuration which will offer Smartcard passengers different discounts when their travel reach a number of trips within a number of days. The amount of discount will be refunded to passengers’ accounts at the time Smartcard passengers finish the last trips.
Note:This feature is available if your company has purchased the Smartcard module
  • Login to Transportme™ or QST operator portal.
  • Select the Smartcards tab on the top menu. 
  • Select Configurations on the left menu. 
  • Select Multi Trips tab. 
  • Select New Configuration button to add a new multi trips configuration. 
  • Enter the configuration details to the Discount Configuration form:

    • Configuration name: this name will be used to assign to Smartcards. 
    • Organisation (optional): the configuration can only be used within the selected organisation. By default, all organisations can see and use the configuration. 
    • Time frame (days): number of days that the discount configuration will be counted. 
    • Number of trips: the number trips that passengers are required to take within time frame to gain the discount. 
    • Type and Discount Amount: choose discount type then enter the discount value correspondingly. 
      • Fixed Amount: the discount is a flat dollar value. 
      • Percentage: enter the percentage of the discount
      • Average: the discount is an average of all trips the passenger took. For example: trip 1 cost $3, trip 2 cost $4, trip 3 cost $8 -> the discount will be $5. 
    • Select the Save button to save the discount configuration.
  • These configurations can be applied to Smartcard profiles individually following these steps: 
    • Edit the smartcard you wish to associate with this configuration. 
    • Select the pen icon located at the top right corner of the Smartcard Detail section. 
    • Choose the configuration name from Multi Trip Discount drop down list in the Smartcard Configuration area. 
    • Select the Save Changes button to apply the update. 
  • To apply the configuration(s) to multiple smartcards, use Bulk Update feature.
