Creating a Stripe account
This is required if your company has paid for the Smartcards feature.
REGISTER A STRIPE ACCOUNT
- Step 1: Access the Stripe registration page https://dashboard.stripe.com/register.
- Step 2: Enter account information in the required fields (email, full name and password), then select the Create account button to set up your Stripe account.
- Step 3: check your registered email to find the verification email and verify email address. In some cases, you may want to check your junk email to find the email.
- Step 4: enter self created password to finish verifying your Stripe account.
ACTIVATE PAYMENTS
- After a Stripe account is registered successfully, it is required to Activate payments on your Stripe account to start accepting payments.
- Select Activate payments button to continue the process as per Stripe's requirement. Following the form, there are prompts and help information available to support you during the process. Hovering the pointer over or selecting the fields, you may find instructions next to the fields. Depending on the provided information, more options will be shown for you to choose from. You may be asked to:
- Verify your business: there are several options for your type of business and more information will be shown depending on your choice.
- Add your bank
- Secure your account
- Add extras: these are optional and you may be charged fees.
- Review and finish: check all provided information and provide all missing required information before you are able to activate payments.
