Connect to Stripe account from Operator Portal

A Stripe account is required for operators that apply fares to their smartcards.You will need to create your Stripe account first before you can link it to your operator portal following these steps.
A Stripe Fee setting must be assigned for Stripe payments to work. 
  • Login to Transportme™ or QST operator portal.
  • Select Smartcards tab on the top menu.
  • Select Stripe Account from the side menu. 
  • Select Update Stripe Account button.

  • Enter your Stripe's account email and password to connect. Or you may be asked for the second factor authentication. After you have connected successfully, you will be redirected to Transportme™ Operator portal.

  •  Enter Stripe Account OTP Confirmation from an email sent to your provided email to finalise the process.

  • Check your provided email for OTP code. The screenshot below is an example of the OTP email for Transportme™ operators.

Notes: 

  • To set up Stripe account for an Organisation, you will need to login to the Operator Portal with organisation user account. 
  • If there is no Stripe account associated with the organisations or operator, the TME's passenger app users or T2S app users will receive an error message when they are trying to top up the smartcards from the app.
