Zone Ticket Grouping

The Zone Ticket Ability feature allows ticket types to be grouped by zones. When enabled, tickets are filtered based on the assigned zone, improving organisation and usability.

To utilise the feature, the following steps should be done: 

Step 1: Set up zone data 

Step 2: Configure zone data for route stops

Step 3: Assign zone to ticket 

How Zone Ticket Ability works on the Driver app


Step 1: Set Up Zone Data

The Zone menu is available in the top navigation bar. If zones have not been set up yet, new zones must be created.

Step 2: Configure Zone Data for Route Stops

  • Enable the Use Zone Ability option for the desired route to group ticket types by zones.

  • Edit the route, select the pencil icon in the Detail Information section, and enable Use Zone Ability.
  • Save the changes.

Once enabled, a Zone column will appear in the route stop list. Ensure that all stops in the route are assigned to a zone.


Step 3: Assign Zones to Ticket Types

  • Navigate to the Tickets section.
  • Locate the ticket associated with the route.

  • Assign the ticket to the corresponding zone.


How It Works on the Driver App

Once the setup is complete, the Driver App will display only ticket types or Passenger List Types that match the zone of the current stop when the route starts.

To view ticket types from other zones, tap the Select Other Zone button. This will display all route related zones, allowing for ticket selection from a different zone.
