Create a route category
In order to organise routes into different groups, route categories will need to be created.
- Login to Transportme™ or QST or TfNSW operator portal.

- Select the Routes tab on the main menu.
- Select Category from the drop down menu.
- Select the Add New Route Category to open New Route Category screen.
- On New Route Category screen, enter a Category Name which is mandatory, and if applicable, assign an Organisation to the route category. A route category that belongs to an organisation can be used later to restrict a user to specific routes within the operator portal.
- Select the SAVE button. New route category will be added to the route category lists.

If you want to edit a route category simply click on the Category Name in the table and you will be taken to the edit window.
After the route category has been created, the next step is to create or edit routes and add them to the category.
