Create a route category
In order to organise routes into different groups, route categories will need to be created.
- Login to Transportme™ or QST or TfNSW operator portal.

- Select the Routes tab on the main menu.
- Select Category from the side menu.
- Select the plus sign to open New Route Category screen.
- On New Route Category screen, enter a Category Name which is mandatory, and if applicable, assign an Organisation to the route category. A route category that belongs to an organisation can be used later to restrict a user to specific routes within the operator portal.
- Select the SAVE button. New route category will be added to the route category lists. The first column "#" is route category ID which is auto-generated by the system.

After the route category has been created, the next step is to create or edit routes and add them to the category.
