Pax A920 - How to find the serial number

The serial number on the Pax A920 is an important identifier of the device.  The serial number is required when Bluetooth pairing to the driver application. 
 In addition, the serial number maybe requested by Transportme support or Transportme payment gateway partner, Datamesh, to assist with support requests. If the device is unable to be turned on, the rear is damaged or scratched please inform Transportme in the support ticket

There are 2 places that the serial number can be found on the Pax A920.

  1.  The simplest way to locate is on the back of the device.  Please turn the device over.  The serial number is directly above the back camera.  The serial number is prefixed by the letters S/N:  example S/N 0822232852
  2. The 2nd way does require the unit to be turned on.  This method would be used if the paper roll hatch is broken off and lost/or the serial number cannot be read on the back of the device. 
  • Turn the Pax A920 unit on using the power button on the right hand side of the unit. This will take approx. 20 seconds for the unit to complete its start sequence. The Transportme app will automatically load.
  • Select the "circle" icon at the bottom of the screen.  This will take you to the main menu. 

  • Select the "settings" icon and enter the password pax9876@@ and select ok

  • Scroll the menu till you find "about device"

  • Select status and scroll and find serial number

  • To return to the main menu, select the "circle" icon at the bottom of the screen.  The Transportme app can be selected from here.
