Smartcard Manifest Route
This feature is available if your company has paid for Smartcards and Smartcard manifest modules. |
A smartcard manifest route displays a list of smartcard holders who board or de-board at predefined stops using their smartcards. The manifest list also includes additional information associated with the smartcard holders, such as wheelchair accessibility, seating requirements, medical details, or any notes. The attached screenshot provides an example of how a smartcard manifest is displayed on the driver app.
General steps to work on Smartcard Manifest Route:
- Step 1: Register new smartcards to add to the manifest list later. Or you may want to edit the existing smartcards to update information. This is an optional step if the smartcards are registered.
- Step 2: Create a new route by selecting "Smartcard Manifest" as the transaction screen type.
- Step 3: Edit the route to add the smartcard accounts to the smartcard manifest.
- Step 4: Update the travel date of the smartcard manifest. This is an optional step.
Here are detailed instructions specifically for managing the smartcard manifest list:
Step 2: Create new smartcard manifest route
Following instructions to create new route. At the step to "Select transaction screen type", choose Smartcard Manifest from the drop down list. Proceed to fill in the remaining information in the "Add Route" form.
Step 3: Edit route to update the smartcard manifest
Add new smartcard to the manifest
- Locate and edit the smartcard manifest route you wish to update.
- On the Route Edit page, navigate to the Smartcard Manifest tab.
- Find the boarding stop where you want to add smartcards and select the pen icon.
- On the "SMARTCARDS BOARDING" page, use the "Search for a smartcard" box to locate and select the smartcard that will board at the chosen stop. This will add the selected smartcard to the manifest for that stop.
- Define the de-boarding stop for the selected smartcard by selecting a stop from the dropdown list.
- Add Days: By default, the smartcard holder will de-board at the same stop every weekday.
- Deboarding Stop - MON/TUE/WED/THU/FRI: If they de-board at different stops on different weekdays, uncheck the "Add Days" checkbox and set up the de-boarding stops for each corresponding day of the week.
- HIDE WEEKDAY SETTINGS: hide the weekday settings if needed.
- Finally, select the "SUBMIT" button to save your changes and return to the "Smartcard Manifest" screen.
Edit the manifest
You can update a smartcard manifest list by removing a smartcard from the manifest or changing the de-boarding stops of a smartcard.
- Locate and edit the smartcard manifest route that you want to update.
- On the "Route Edit" page, go to the "Smartcard Manifest" tab.
- Find the boarding stop where you want to make changes to the manifest.
- To remove a smartcard from the manifest, you can either:
- Select delete icon under "Remove" column.
- Or, select the pen icon located at the far right end of the boarding stop. Then select the delete X icon under "DELETE" column. After making the necessary changes, select the "SUBMIT" button to save updates.
- To update the de-boarding stops that have been set up, select the pen icon located at the far right end of the boarding stop. Make the necessary changes to the de-boarding stops are required. Once you have made the desired modifications,and select "SUBMIT" button to save the modification.
