Track the buses

Live Tracking feature includes :

• Google Live Traffic.
• The number of passengers on board the vehicle.
• The live speed of the vehicle.
• The On Time status by the colour of the GPS pin.

• Login to Transportme™ or QST or TfNSW operator portal.
• Select Gps Tracking tab > select Live Tracking.

• Colour indicators for the On Time status: This is available if your company has purchased the GPS Extra feature. Select the information icon to see the colour indicator descriptions.

• Routes Operating panel: This shows all the information of buses according to the buses' status - color indicator is applied. 

	Select this icon to send instant messages to the driver.
	Select this icon to open basic route information.  This will appear on the map with the corresponding color pin.
	Select this icon to show/hide stop pins on the map for the selected route.
	Select this icon to show/hide route line on the map for the selected route.  Available once the bus has started driving.
	Check the box to show or uncheck to hide the route pin on the map
	Select the button to force ending a trip on the Routes Operating area following your confirmation.

• Route information: 
  • Select the Send Message To Driver button to open Send Message box and send instant message to the driver on that bus. 
  • Click to show pax list button: shows live onboard passenger list and the time the passenger(s) tapped on with their Smartcard(s).  This can provide valuable information to the operator in the event of disaster management. If your company has purchased the Smartcards module, it will show the cardholder's names. If not, it will show Unknown list with onboard time only. 
  • Export Pax list button:  this will download the Pax list into an excel spreadsheet onto your computer.  The list will show the  Pax Name and Onboard time.  This information can be used to manage route times and the downloaded list can be printed.  

• Last COBC code: . 

  

  • Last COBC code - Clear of bus check code: this code is the same as the code being generated by the pin code generator on the vehicle. This code is only shown when the route has been set up with the "clear of bus check" . 
  • This code may help the drivers to end the route or end of their shifts in case the pin code generator can not be read. 
  • Note: 
    • Please make sure the drivers have checked their vehicle in order to provide the code. 
    • If the trip is in OFFLINE mode, the COBC code will not be available.
