Process for linking smartcards to the payment authority

  • Operator needs to create a Stripe account from within their Operator Portal. 
  • This step is performed prior to the Smartcard registration process.
  • The guide on how to setup a Stripe account is located in the User Guides and Knowledge Base Articles. 
  • Once the Operator has successfully setup a Stripe account, it is automatically linked to the Operator Portal and any Smartcards that are subsequently registered in that Operator Portal.
  • Customers when registering their Smartcard via the Travel2School app, will firstly choose their ‘Favourite Operator’. Once they have chosen that Operator and registered their Smartcard, this then links any Smartcard Funding to that Operator’s Stripe account
