How user and organisation work
What is Organisation?
Organisations are high level restrictions to users within the Operator Portal.
What is User?
User is defined as a person or staff member that is granted access to the Operator Portal by an administrator of the operator. Operator can restrict users to specific permissions by assigning them different user roles and organisation.
How to create Organisation and User?
These features are available if your company has purchased the 2nd Tier User module. There is an initial set up cost, then a monthly subscription depending on how many users.
Create a user and assign user to organisation.
How to assign routes to an organisation?
Step 1: create or edit a Route Category and assign it to an organisation.
Step 2: create or edit Routes that belongs to the route category created in step 1.
How to assign smartcard to an organisation?
You can assign a smartcard to an organisation when you register a new smartcard or edit an existing smartcard under Card Holder Information section of the smartcard.
What features admin Users can access on the Operator Portal?
They can utilise all functions of the Operator Portal of the operator as well as create users of their own.
What features non-admin Users can access on the Operator Portal?
The features that non-admin users can access depending on the role they were associated. And the users can only access to the routes and smartcards belong to their organisation.
