Step 4 Replacement iPad - Bluetooth pairing and testing
For- Queensland School Ticketing (QST) / Rural and Regional (R&R) TfNSW operators:
| If a device needs to be removed or installed in its cradle, please hold the device and cradle unit before removing or installing the device or before loosening to adjust the RAM mount .This will prevent the cradle falling suddenly and damaging the hardware. | ||
You will need the following equipment (the equipment required for testing will not be the same for all operators)
- The replacement iPad
- Driver login details to access the driver application on the iPad
- Take the iPad to the assigned vehicle and carefully place into the iPad cradle.
When the replacement iPad is in the assigned vehicle
- Confirm the power cable is inserted correctly in the device and power source
- Turn the device on
- Login to the driver application
- Bluetooth pair your peripheral devices examples of devices
- QST operators-
- Pincode generator pairing the pincode generator and testing
- Operators will have either a Pax A920 pairing the Pax A920 OR
- The ACR smartcard reader pairing the ACR smartcard reader
- R & R operators
- Pax A920 pairing the Pax A920
Testing
- Follow these steps to test the replacement iPad with Pax A920 testing Pax A920 functions- (if equipped)
- Follow these steps to test the replacement iPad with the ACR card reader testing ACR card reader functions (if equipped)
Log out of the driver application.
