Step 4 Replacement Pin Code Generator (PCG)- Bluetooth pairing and testing

For- Queensland School Ticketing (QST) operators


You will need the following equipment 

  • The replacement PCG is installed in the assigned bus.
  • The assigned iPad is in the bus.
  • Driver login details to access the driver application on the iPad in the bus create a driver
  • The PCG serial number locate the PCG serial number

When the replacement pin code generator in the assigned vehicle

  1. Login to the driver application on the iPad
  2. Bluetooth pair the replacement PCG to the iPad. how to Bluetooth pair the replacement PCG to the iPad
  3. Open a route on the driver app
  4. Confirm the “green tick” next to the letters COBC (clear of bus check) in the transaction screen. This shows a successful Bluetooth connection with the PCG. Confirm the PCG Bluetooth connection
  5. End the route and retrieve the pin code from the device and enter the code into this screen.

    6. Logout of the driver application.
