Introduction
What is a Smartcard Manifest?
A manifest is a list of passengers who board or de-board at predefined stops on specific days using their smartcards.

A manifest route is a predefined route that displays a manifest on the DA when started. It also provides additional information about passengers, such as wheelchair accessibility, seating requirements, medical details, or any special notes.
Who can create a Manifest?
Users with route management permissions can create or update manifest routes.

Step 1: Register Smartcards
- Add new smartcards individually or use bulk upload to add them to the manifest list later.
- If smartcards are already registered, edit existing ones to update their information individually or use bulk update.
Step 2: Create a Smartcard Manifest Route
- Set up a new route and select Smartcard Manifest as the transaction screen type.
Step 3: Set Up the Manifest
- Add passengers to the manifest.
- Configure travel schedules and input special requirements.
Step 4: Manage and Update
- Modify passenger's travel dates as needed.
- Remove the passenger from the manifest.
Smartcard Manifest Route on DA
The Smartcard Manifest Route on DA operates similarly to other default routes, except that DA displays a predefined manifest at boarding and de-boarding stops. Additionally, it provides passenger details such as wheelchair accessibility, seating requirements, medical information, and special notes.
Passenger App Self Service
Passenger app users can add, update, or delete themselves from a manifest based on route capacity and reserved seats.
- A new screen is provisioned on the PA to allow users to manage their smartcards on Route Manifests.
- A calendar-style view helps users easily identify when they have bookings on a manifest.
- Users can click a date to edit existing manifest bookings or add new ones.
- Users can replicate bookings across multiple dates.
- Users can duplicate their booking to multiple smartcards linked to their profile.
- Users can select boarding and de-boarding stops.
- Users can flag specific dates as “Not Traveling” while retaining their position on the manifest (e.g., a student is sick, or a parent wants to flag non-travel dates without removing their child from the manifest).
